Jess commenced accounting in 2009 in Gippsland, Victoria, working at a small firm as a junior accountant.
Jess moved to Melbourne In 2014, where he continued working In the accounting sector at multiple firms across Melbourne. Through this work, Jess was exposed to many businesses within the sports & fitness, hospitality, construction, and retail Industries to name a few.
In 2021, Jess started with The Gild Group as a client manager, bringing a friendly, personal approach to all his clients. In addition to his professional endeavours, Jess also dedicates his time to running a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym where he Imparts his knowledge to others and regularly engages in competition within the sport.
Jess has worked across many areas of tax & accounting but is particularly focused on business valuations, structure advice, tax issues and problems small business owners encounter on a daily basis.
