Having spent over 15 years as an R&D Incentives and Government Grants specialist working for a global Big 4 professional services firm, Renee has successfully partnered with many clients across a number of industries during this time. Pulling from these experiences, Renee now uses her abundant leadership attributes and technical skillset to lead a highly experienced team to assist companies access and defend much-needed funding through government incentives. Prior to life as a professional R&D Advisor, Renee obtained her PhD and had a successful scientific research career in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics and holds an MBA in Innovation and Leadership.
Renee has advised national and global corporations in the energy, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology/pharmaceutical, agtech, mining/resources, food & beverage manufacturing, infrastructure, and ICT industries.
As part of her role at Gild, Renee takes a pragmatic, risk-managed and commercially viable approach to help companies simplify complex reporting processes and navigate government regulatory frameworks, allowing them to access government grants and incentives providing them with much needed funds to invest back into their business. Renee has a focus on delivering exceptional quality outcomes and given her extensive technical skills and corporate experience, Renee works with clients to ensure that they are best positioned to take advantage of the opportunities that the commercial and regulatory landscape has to offer in order for them to achieve their true commercial potential.
