With his extensive experience, Matt is ideally placed to provide detailed guidance on industry best practice and direction to ensure claims and all required compliance activities are conducted efficiently and to the highest standard.
With additional direct experience and connectivity in R&D financing, Matt’s guidance can truly optimise your business’s cash position while progressing through your development and commercialisation phases.
Collectively, Matt has supported clients that have been awarded over $60M in grant funding across a wide spectrum of competitive funding programs and with a particular interest and focus on renewable energy projects, ~$25M from ARENA grants alone.
The competitive, merit-based grant landscape is constantly evolving with the Government’s most recent agenda and community concerns. Matt’s dedicated focus on these funding priority areas ensures that he is best placed to advise clients of current and upcoming funding opportunities relevant to them.
Before transitioning to consulting roles, Matt had 10 years of experience in both the wealth and funds management industries with roles with ING Australia, JP Morgan and Thames River Capital (UK).
